Metro Hardwood Flooring is a new hardwood flooring distributor which provides products and services to hardwood flooring contractors, floor covering and lumber dealers in the Twin Cities. Metro Hardwood Flooring will provide a wide range of flooring products; prefinished, unfinished, domestic, exotic strip and plank, engineered, bamboo, and laminate flooring, along with pattern floors, borders and medallions. Other products include sundry items such as finishes, abrasives, adhesives, wood vents, fasteners, transition mouldings, and many more.
Metro Hardwood Flooring is a division of one of the largest and most state-of-the-art hardwood companies in the United States. Our parent company owns and operates; 3 sawmills, 3 dry kiln facilities, a plank flooring and millwork manufacturing facility in Wisconsin called Westby Harwood Products, and a full line regional distribution company. These relationships provide a truly vertical integrated hardwood corporation from the logs to the mill to distribution and direct to its customers. This also gives Metro Hardwood Flooring the ability to offer its customers FSC materials, through our family of companies, which have one of the largest inventories of FSC products in the country, FSC Certified SW-COC-000008. This certification from the Forest Stewardship Council allows products to flow from certified forests to enter the marketplace with credentials that are green certified.
Westby Hardwood Products also has the ability to manufacture specialty products to the customer’s specifications. These specifications include finished widths up to 8”, and lengths up to 16’ ft long. Special flooring grades can be specified on species such as Walnut, Hickory, Maple, Birch, Red and White Oak plain sawn or quarter sawn with lead times less than three weeks. Laminate Flooring
Whether remodeling, floating over concrete, or trying to stay under a tight budget, we have a laminate flooring option for you! Our laminate flooring is extremely durable with a core made from 100% HDF (high density fiberboard) not the MDF (medium density fiberboard) many of the cheap brands available are made from. This assures your customer years of performance without worry, and our product wont dent or scratch as easily as the laminate made of MDF. Our entire line of Laminate has a 25 year warranty, and installs with a simple locking tongue and groove for fast installation.
